Cipolla in agrodolce - Sweet and sour onions - Fratelli Burgio - 90g

The Burgio brothers are a Sicilian family whose deli was born in 1978 in the countryside of Solarino and today sits inside the Ortigia market in Siracusa, where the stalls look out to the sea. They keep alive the flavours of the island, working the old way and without preservatives.

Sweet and sour onions, 90g, cooked down with vinegar, raisins and pine nuts. A classic agrodolce to serve with cheese, cured meats or boiled meats.

Ingredients: onion (80%), balsamic vinegar, vinegar, mint, extra virgin olive oil, raisins, pine nuts, brown sugar, salt, black pepper.
