Pesto Siculo - Sicilian Pesto - Fratelli Burgio

Pesto Siculo, basil pesto with grated tuna roe, capers, almonds and sundried cherry tomatoes: toss it with pasta or gnocchi.

Basil makes up 75% of it, and the roe makes it bolder and more savoury than a Genovese. From Fratelli Burgio, a family deli born in 1978 in the Solarino countryside and now in the Ortigia market in Siracusa, made without preservatives.
