Piccantella - Fresh Minced Chili Peppers Spread - Fratelli Burgio

The Burgio brothers are a Sicilian family whose deli was born in 1978 in the countryside of Solarino and today sits inside the Ortigia market in Siracusa, where the stalls look out to the sea. They keep alive the flavours of the island, working the old way and without preservatives.

Ingredients: chilli pepper (80%), extra virgin olive oil (10%), capers (4%), parsley (2%), fennel seeds (2%), mint (1%), garlic (1%)

Usage tip: great on bruschetta or to lift simple dishes with its heat.
