Dolcini Ripieni al Pistacchio e al Limone - Sweets with Pistachio & Lemon Filling - Tumminello - 270g

Shortcrust sweets filled with Sicilian pistachio and candied lemon peel, to serve with coffee or tea.

Tumminello makes them in Castelbuono. The filling, 19% of the sweets, brings together chopped roasted Sicilian pistachio, candied lemon peel, chopped Sicilian almond and wildflower honey, inside a butter short pastry.

• Ingredients: Short pastry: wheat flour, butter, sugar, pasteurised egg yolk, fresh eggs, salt, natural flavourings, raising agents (disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate). Filling (19%): chopped roasted Sicilian pistachio 5%, candied lemon peel 4.5% (lemon peel, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar), sugar, chopped Sicilian almond 2%, vegetable puree (pumpkin, orange peel, candied pear peel, candied citron, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, flavourings, preservative: sulphur dioxide), wildflower honey, pistachio paste, lemon essential oil, natural flavourings, food alcohol, sweetener (sorbitol), thickener (carob flour).
