Condimento Mediterraneo - Mediterranean Sicilian Sauce - Fratelli Burgio - 250ml

The Burgio brothers are a Sicilian family whose deli was born in 1978 in the countryside of Solarino and today sits inside the Ortigia market in Siracusa, where the stalls look out to the sea. They keep alive the flavours of the island, working the old way and without preservatives.

250 ml. A Mediterranean vegetable sauce: tomato, courgette and aubergine with basil, pine nuts and garlic. Warm it through and toss with pasta, or serve over grilled vegetables and bruschetta.

Ingredients: tomato, courgette, aubergine, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, pine nuts, garlic, black pepper

Usage tip: warm it for 5 minutes in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil, then add your pasta.
