Crema di pistacchio e cioccolato bianco - Pistachio and white chocolate cream - Fratelli Burgio

A sweet spread of Sicilian pistachio, about 30% of the jar, and white chocolate: spread it on bread or eat it off the spoon.

This is the sweet side of the Burgio brothers, whose deli sits in the Ortigia market in Siracusa. Velvety and spoonable, it pleases young and old, and makes a good gift for someone who does not yet know they need it.

How to use it

• On bread in the morning, or on warm toast.
• On a slice of pandoro or inside a croissant.
• Swirled into yogurt, or straight from the jar.
