Kit Carbonara - La Bottega

A carbonara kit for 4 with Tornillo guanciale, Pecorino Romano DOP and Lo Spaghettone: you add the eggs and black pepper.

Everything for a proper carbonara comes in one box: a piece of Tornillo guanciale of about 220 g, 300 g of Pecorino Romano DOP from Cooperativa Allevatori Ovini, and 500 g of Lo Spaghettone by Pasta Armando. No cream.

How to use it

• Render the guanciale slowly until crisp.
• Whisk the pecorino with egg yolks.
• Toss with the pasta and a splash of cooking water, and finish with black pepper.
